We are based in London and the South East. We are open to applicants from further afield, but events will be held in London and the surrounding area.
Time Commitment:
· Approx. 1-2 hours per week
· Quarterly Committee meetings
· Help running events (approx.. 3 per year)
We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who include People of Colour/Black and minority ethnicity/Non-White, English as an additional language, LGBTQIA+, Disabled people, Neurodiverse people and those from Working Class backgrounds.
Vacant Role: Communications Manager
This role will involve creating a monthly EARLL Newsletter based on content from events, webinars, tours, or talks promoted via Twitter, and other Library websites or social media platforms. It will also include monthly recommendations of books and articles to read, as well as occasional videos or recordings of training courses for members to access.
You will be working alongside another Comms Manager, so can liaise together and share the task. The Newsletter will be produced using MailChimp. No experience is necessary, and the EARLL team can show you the ropes! The Communications Managers will also be responsible for sourcing new blog posts for our website.
